In plain English
We quote your move, you approve the price, and a $150 deposit holds the date. We move your things carefully and carry insurance if something goes wrong. Pay the agreed amount when the job is done, and tell us about anything fragile, heavy, or restricted before move day.
Terms of Service
These terms cover moving services provided by Foreign Movers, based at 2999 Douglas Blvd, Suite 230, Roseville, CA 95661. By booking with us, you agree to what follows.
Quotes and booking. Quotes are based on the information you provide about home size, locations, and items. Local jobs may be billed hourly at $159/hr for a two-mover crew or as an approved flat rate; long-distance jobs are a binding written quote starting at $2,480. A $150 deposit reserves your date and applies to the final total. Changes to the inventory, access, or distance on move day may adjust the price, and we’ll tell you before proceeding.
Your responsibilities. Please disclose heavy or specialty items, stairs, and any building requirements such as a certificate of insurance ahead of time. Do not pack prohibited items: hazardous materials, propane, ammunition, flammables, perishables, or live plants. We are not responsible for goods you pack yourself that are not visibly damaged in transit.
Liability and coverage. Standard released-value protection is $0.60 per pound per article under federal rules, included at no charge. Full-value protection is available for an added cost, and we carry up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage per shipment. Claims must be filed in writing within the period required by law.
Payment and cancellation. Payment is due upon completion unless we agree otherwise in writing. You may reschedule and move your deposit to a new date; cancellations with reasonable notice are refundable. We operate under CAL-T/CPUC and US DOT/MC authority and follow the regulations that apply to each move.
