Move-out and move-in dates almost never line up cleanly, so we keep a climate-controlled hold for the gap. Your closing slips a week, the new build off Fiddyment Farm isn’t ready, the rental’s a few days short, we load you out on schedule and store the shipment until you’re set. The valley runs hot, summer afternoons past 100 degrees, so a climate-controlled space matters for wood, electronics, and anything that warps in heat.
How the storage billing works between legs
It’s two pieces, kept separate so nothing’s buried. First, the move legs: we bill the out-load and the later delivery as their own jobs, hourly at $159 for two movers or on a flat band, your choice. Second, the storage in between bills by the time it actually sits. A short gap of a few days is billed by the day; once you cross into a longer hold we switch you to a weekly rate, which works out cheaper than stacking daily charges. We tell you both rates up front, so a closing that slips from Friday to the following Wednesday never turns into a mystery line on the invoice. Your goods stay blanket-wrapped and inventoried the whole time, and the same crew that stored them brings them out. When the new place is finally ready, you give us a few days’ notice, we pull the inventory, and we run the delivery leg on the date that works for you. Nothing sits in a stranger’s warehouse and nothing changes hands. A $150 deposit holds the out-load date and applies to your total, the kind of plain arithmetic our Roseville storage movers have run for years.
